This bonus applies even against incorporeal touch attacks. The sheath is harmful to the touch, dealing 1d4 points of force damage to any creature that successfully strikes you with a non-reach weapon. In addition, your unarmed strikes deal an extra 1d4 points of damage and can affect incorporeal creatures as if they were force effects.
