This spell creates a wave of lava that rises up and showers the designated area. Each creature in the area takes 1d4 points of fire damage per caster level (maximum 15d6). (Editor's note: This is how the spell is written in the book.)

Lava splash acts as a cure moderate wounds spell to firenewts. This spell was first used by firenewt clerics of Kossuth.

Focus: A fist-sized lump of volcanic rock.
