Snakebite(Spell Compendium, page 193, DnD 3.5) TransmutationLevel: ; Druid 3; Ranger 4
You cast the spell, and one of your arms turns into a venomous bright-green snake with a fanged, biting mouth that drips poison. This spell transforms one of your arms into a poisonous serpent. As an attack action, you can strike an opponent with your snake arm by making a successful melee attack. The bite from the venomous serpent deals damage equal to 1d3 points + your Str modifier, and it carries a toxic venom that deals 2 points of Constitution damage as initial and secondary damage. Each instance of ability damage can be negated by a Fortitude save (DC equal to this spell's DC). You can't hold a weapon with your transformed hand, but your other hand can be used to wield weapons or cast spells with somatic components. Attacking with the transformed hand and a weapon incurs the standard two-weapon fighting penalties (PH 160). You can be under the effect of only one snakebite spell at any given time. |
